Join Us For FIC Meetings In Massachusetts!
Mosaic Commons Cohousing, Berlin MA, Nov 12-14

by Laird Schaub, FIC Executive Secretary

The Fellowship for Intentional Community will be holding its semi-annual organizational meetings Nov 12-14, 2010 at newly constructed Mosaic Commons, a cohousing community in Berlin, less than an hour west of Boston. FIC logo

This marks the first time we’ve been in the Bay State since the last millennium (we gathered at Sirius in Shutesbury in fall 1999).

The agenda will include

  • a proposal to hold an Art of Community weekend in northern CA in spring 2011
  • a first look at our 6th edition of Communities Directory (expected to be released in October)
  • discussion about how to boost subscriptions and advertising for Communities magazine
  • exploration of increased collaboration with sister organizations
  • creation of the 2011 budget
  • plans for enhancing our family of websites

If you’re interested in community networking--or have questions about how to handle challenges your group is facing--this is an unparalleled opportunity to get together with a bunch of community veterans, and see where you might fit in.

It’s also a chance to witness the consensus process as practiced by a group with more than 20 years under its belt.

We hope you’ll join us for the camaraderie and stimulating conversation!

See our board meetings webpage for past event locations.
