As publisher of Communities since 1992, FIC is willing to sustain modest annual operating losses because of how well the magazine (a communities movement mainstay since its start in 1972) fits as a part of our family of publications about cooperative living. But recent budget projections have been alarming. Because we're committed to continuing to serve you and the wider cause of cooperative culture, we're appealing for your support to allow that to happen.

We believe (and have heard from many of you) that the magazine has never looked better and the articles have never been more heartfelt and practical. We know that there are at least another 1000 people out there who would love what Communities has to offer, and we're asking your help in finding them.
