Mission Statement:

Environmental villagers

Community Description:

We are a group seeking independence and true human values.

The project started in May 2000 as a personal philosophical project and it grew in membership after the cartoon scandals in 2005, when we made a stand against political correctness since we consider it a politically correct name for censorship.

In 2007, due to the highly intellectual level of our members, we were invited to participate in the exhibition about the possibilities of creating one’s own country and self-government at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Paris and Palais de Tokyo, together with John Lennon’s project Nutopia, the Free State of Christiania, State of Sabotage, Sealand, and other similar projects.

In 2008 we were offered a two- by five-meter stand in the biggest hobby fair of Denmark, and we hosted the fifth Free Olympics, a web event in which nine other similar projects competed against each other.

We are looking for members who have engagement and who are willing to form local protest groups, or members who are just tired of all the madness surrounding us and dream of a place where instituting a family does not involve paranoia about a Kafkan police state overflowing with taxes.

We are minarchic. This means having very basic and simple rules, if any, minimum power to government, and the eradication of bureaucracy and corruption, so that you will be able to settle in a community of your choice or live by your own rules, and so that we will have a city with all basic needs.

We are a noocracy, this mean that the Council members are experienced people in administration and their skills, other than just will to participate on the political process.

The people involved in the project are mainly artists, web designers, doctors, librarians, and university students, some with military knowhow and all with the will to keep the rights of every member of our nation.

Our constitution is the Universal Declarations of Human Rights of 1948, a time when nations were tired of struggle and desired peace to humankind.

Our flag is white, indicating our desire for peace, with a coat of arms that indicates our will to defend ourselves, with no bearers (as we can sustain ourselves), a blue mantle over the coat of arms, and in a blue field a golden lily, indicating the two things we love most: clear skies and water reflecting it, and nature blossoming in all its beauty.
