Valle de Sensaciones

(Alpujarras, Granada, Spain)

Mission Statement:

Community Description:

Valle de Sensaciones aims to be a place of inspiration and cooperation among creative people. Here we are creating an artistic sustainable paradise. You can find an educational park, experience artistic tree houses or caves, take part in multiple workshops, and jump instantly into community life. The wide range of subjects, like permaculture, green building, eco-technology, LandArt, music, instrument-making, drumming, and shamanism, is merging into an experimental fusion of Nature, Art and Sustainability.

The project is mainly dedicated to people who want to experience this unique lifestyle for a short period, even if we are open for new long-term members in the event that we get a special personal and professional resonance.

Our comunal living is based on our comunity-mandala which consists of a gameboard as a tool to organize the tasks and responsabilities of the comunal living. It enables a comunity to share theese functions in a flowing, flexible, fair and holistic way. It invites you to experience the day by day life in a playfull and spiritual way. It allows for some strategic attitude which might lead some to take things less serious but also might give you a mirror of how much you are willing to take care of comunal needs.
It relates to all areas which need to be covered to be able to live collectively in such an environment: cooking, cleaning, caretaking of the communal areas, gardening etc..
