Mission Statement:

monastics retreat meditation

Community Description:

We are a residential group of hermits or solitaries (and others in religious communities or domestic monasteries) living together (or alone) for the mutual benefit and protection of the whole. We have communities in MANY countries.

Each person is respected for the level of solitude he or she desires and great efforts are taken by all to ensure that the sanctity of that solitude is never broken under any circumstances. Members live in individual residences at the hermitage.

This is the international residential centre; we have other small residential communities in other countries. We also have training by correspondence – novitiate training for monastics, in community or in their own homes.

We are interdenominational and for pastoral purposes us different rites e.g. Orthodox Liturgy, Western Rites, etc. We also offer silent worship or meditation.

Like all contemplatives from all religions (or none, as is the case with humanists or secularists), we focus on the present NOW moment. This practice existed for thousands of years, (long before Eckart Tolle and Oprah sensationalized it with their 500,000 members “studying” this subject on internet). Contemplatives from all faiths (like Eastern Orthodox Christians, western Christian contemplatives, centering prayer, Zen, Vedanta’s self-realization, etc.) all emphasize the moment when one breathes, as the moment when alone one exists, is alive, conscious, living.

Everyone of goodwill is welcome. Contact us by email. See our other proper site:

Como nuevo miembro del Priorato Internacional de la Santísima Trinidad quiero dar las gracias desde aquí a Vladyka+Claudio de Sevilla (España) y al arzobispo ++Iohannes (Sudáfrica) por la cálida acogida que nos han brindado en esta comunidad ortodoxa internacional.
Mi pequeña capilla de Vigo será un punto más de unión para todos los ortodoxos que deseen acercarse a los oficios litúrgicos.

Fair Housing Laws

Our community does not provide land or housing, so is not subject to fair housing laws., Our community fits the legal definition of “housing for older persons” meaning housing occupied solely by persons 62 years of age or older; or housing in which 80% of the occupied units have at least one person 55 years of age or older, and which meet certain other requirements. Thus we may restrict membership/residency to those of a certain age and may have limits on child membership/residency in accordance with the law. Our community does not discriminate based on race/color, nationality, religion, sex/gender, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, source of income, creed, appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or domestic abuse., Our community is a legally sanctioned church or religious organization and living in our community is restricted to members of that religion as allowed by law. Our religion does not discriminate based on race, color, or national origin. Housing in our community is non-commercial (i.e. not intended to make a profit)., Our housing is a single housing unit and requires the sharing of bathroom, kitchen and common space membership/residency may be restricted based on sex/gender in accordance with the law. Our community does not discriminate based on race/color, national origin, religion, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or domestic abuse.
