Mission Statement:

Come join us and help us form the most livable community we can in terms of establishing a close neighborhood of people all striving to be good to the Earth, to the Township and to each other!!

Community Description:

Although our progress has come to a stop until lawyers can agree on a settlement for the Court case that is tying up a nice piece of land jointly owned by members of the same family, we still seek Active Adults age 40 and up to join the 69 other households that have expressed an interest in living in a green-built Active Adult community at that location. The Township within which the land is located has an Active Adult Zoning Ordinance already in place, ready to attract one to come in, and we hope to fit right into that Ordinance so well that we are up and building as soon as the lawyers relent and seek cooperation rather than encourage dissent. We believe that the Township is progressive in its thinking and will welcome all the green features of an Ecovillage if we offer green “upgrades” to future households.

  • Membership Process: We are trying to spare individuals endless meetings so are following a “developer-driven” model of securing the land first, and then building our formal membership around that property. Inquiries are welcome, and a list is being made of people that are interested so we are ready to go the minute we get word that the legal issues are settled.

    There will be no school age children under the age of 18 permanently living in the Community as in an Active Adult Community Ordinance

    the idea is to work in groups to make meal, yard & common house chores fun again for those that decide to handle the land this way! For those unable to work, they will have option of paying an agreed to equivalent to the cost of doing projects the others choose to volunteer to do in lieu of financial payment.
