Community Description:

Ecovillage was organized by the Non-governmental Environmental Organization “Yav” (Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation).

It was founded in March 2004. Now 4 to 10 people live there day-to-day in winter and summer, and about 40 sometimes come from Rostov-on-Don and plan to settle in the future.

Ecovillage is located in the Kagalnitskiy district of Rostov Region, 32 kilometers beyond Rostov-on-Don. Every family will have 0.4 – 1.2 hectares of land for making their family home. Most of the settlers are from Rostov-on-Don and Rostov Region of Russia.

There is very good humus soil, good transportation, and very nice country in the area.
