Mission Statement:

We are a Christian community seeking to honor Christ through prayer, environmental sustainability, and work for peace and justice

Community Description:

We are currently two households of five adults and five children living on 8 acres of land in the rolling hills of rural Kentucky. We live a cooperative Christian witness through prayer, environmental sustainability, and efforts towards peace and justice
Within this community we endeavor to:
· Root our lives in shared daily prayer
· Model Christian decency, care, charity and faithfulness
· Live environmentally sustainably
· Embrace nonviolence
· Work for peace, social and economic justice
· Offer hospitality
· Make decisions consensually within a context of prayer
· Honor individual sacredness, support marital unions, and nurture family relationships
· Balance our communal and private lives
· Share faithful stewardship of commonly owned resources

If the consensus of the full members approves this request, the person becomes a provisional member. A person/family can rent property while considering full membership. After a period of at least 6 months of mutual discernment, the provisional member can request to become a full member. If the consensus of the full members approves this request, the person becomes a full member.
