Would you like to have a sandy beach on a small lake with your 6.65 acres? You can, as the lake is located in the 200 Acres of Common Area, of which you would own a share, at May Creek Farm, just SW of Bloomington, In. A gravel road leads to the property. An 18’ x 24’ building is on the property, with 200 amp electric
panel, Flue for a wood stove, and it is stubbed for plumbing. A deep well is in place with great water. City water is available at the property’s edge. One could finish out the structure and live in it while building more living area. There are approximately 200 acres of commonly owned acres that come with this Share. The 200 Acres in common is mostly wooded, however, there is a 20 or so acre field, that has the lake, shelter house, and barn. It is currently used for an organic farming operation and if the purchaser of this property had
similar desires, they could do the same. Also included in the Share portion of this property is use of the 4 x 4 dump truck, the 4 x 4 John Deere tractor with many implements including bush hog, grader, post hole digger, tiller. Plus all of the other equipment used for maintenance of the Farm.
May Creek Farm is an intentional
community started in 1976 and consists of a little over 300 acres. It was collectively purchased by a group of people who then divided it into 16 home sites, leaving
nearly 200 hundred acres in community ownership. Monthly council meetings are held to discuss any Farm matters that need to be addressed. The $125. monthly fee covers maintenance of road, equipment, lake, forest, Shelter House, or other. Subject to homeowners associations conditions and restrictions. POSSIBLE CONTRACT TO QUALIFIED BUYER.
